Gunwharf Quays - Information Office
Our client, Gunwharf Quays needed a total refurbishment of their information office, what started off as just an empty room,
took shape and as you can see from the picture to the left we were able to create a very elegant and contemporary office.
To create the office our client asked for we completed the following:
Building:Remove part of existing flooring to lay specialised vinyl floor tiles. Tiled the walls behind water and planting
features with white standing pebble mosaic wall tiles.
Carpentry: We constructed custom made cupboards which were covered over with a veneer finish. We also constructed the
‘planters’ for the water and planting feature as well as the frame for the floor to ceiling poster.
Plumbing: We ran a new plumbing system for the installation of a custom made water feature that was installed by others.
Electrical: We installed a new light feature and overhauled the existing lights. We ran new electrical supplies
for the water feature, televisions and security system.
Painting & Decorating: Paint was applied to walls and ceiling, and woodwork was stained.
Segro - Unit 11, Voyager Park
Our client needed a shell unit converted into a new office, with a main office space, a manager's office and a small kitchen.
The picture to the left illustrate the dramatic transformation, needless to say our client was very pleased with the results!
To create the refurbishment we did the following:
Building: We erected partition walls and laid joist to form a new office. This included one hour fireproof suspended ceilings
and walls.
Carpentry: Apart from the work carried out on the partitions we also installed new kitchen units and fire doors with vision
panels, door closers and intumescent seals.
Plumbing: Run new water supply for kitchen and plumbed sink.
Electrical: Run in new electrical supply and installed air conditioning unit, lighting and electrical sockets in dado trunking
for computers etc.
Painting & Decorating: The walls were plastered before being painted, all woodwork was
glossed and floor carpeting was laid.
Homewood Interiors - Furniture Storeroom Refurbishment
Our client needed a new warehouse for a furniture store, and we were more than capable of turning a disused unit
into a well presented space fit for our clients needs. To create the refurbishment we did the following:
Building: We started by removing brick and partition walls. We then erected timber uprights to the external wall, and installed
insulation before plaster boarding the walls and put up a suspended ceiling.
Electrical: We disconnected the existing lighting and wired in Cat2 lighting, we ran new wiring
for strip lights on tracking and double sockets around the room.
Carpentry: Double doors to the warehouse were altered to include vision panels, door closers and intumescent seals.
Two new cupboards were constructed to house ducting and the electric meter, these included intumescent seals and
the electric meter cupboard also had a door closer fitted. We installed skirting boards to the walls.
